what cream soups can you have on the 5 day pouch test
Im going to try to do the 5 day pouch test starting on monday. I went to the website and was wondering if the only cream soups you can have are the ones Kaye has recipies for ( the high protein soups ) or can you have canned cream soups? I was going to do it last week with everyone else but wasnt ready mentally, I know Im ready now. Thanks Debra
I ate store bought cream soups since I have never made soup and didn't want to 'experiment' during that week.
Cream of chicken was the only kind in the store I even remotely liked (I'm not a soup eatter)

I went to the store today and bought cream of chicken, cream of celery, tomatoe and beef and chicken broth. So will see how it goes. I usually only use those cream soups when making like cassarole, never ate them straight. Seems a little odd that they would have them on the test, arent they kinda fattening? Do you add milk or water ? I always stayed away from them. Debra
I used water because I don't tolerate milk. I only had soup twice. I just dont like it, and I'd rather have a protein drink then soup.
I use sf hot chocolate with vanilla protein powder - Yum!!! MUCH better then soup.

I ate the cream of broccoli, cream of potato, and tomato.
Good luck! I'm SO very happy with the results. I'm back to eating mostly by the rules and the weight is slowly coming off! I feel like I can really do it this time! It's amazing!
