Unfortunately I only walked for about 15 minutes this morning on my break.  I have been feeling sick to my stomach with nausea, and my stomach feels bloated .  I think I am going to go to Wal-mart on my lunch hour and try and find something to eat or better yet to drink that would make me feel better .  But so far today the only other moving I have done has been to the bathroom with diarrhea .  So send healing thoughts and prayers.  Thanks.

Kathy, You are on FIRE!  and I'd like to officially welcome you to the Midwest workout brought to you by Mother Nature and her partner Jack Frost!   Take care with the arm/shoulder workout if you are also doing that much shoveling,  don't need you blowing a rotater cuff.  Got on the scale this am and down 5!  What the he!! is going on?  All I can attribute it to is I am really more focused on the H2O..    Got up 2x last night to go #1 (which is VERY rare) and I think I might have been retaining a bit.  Protein is good, following my Dr. recommendation of 40 to 50gr a day.  So we will see how the next day or 2 goes.   I measured my waist, kinda the Dr. Oz thing.  Women its recommended to have a 32 inch waist.  Last I measured at the beginning (Nov 19) mine was 35, so tonight I might have to haul out the tape. I would be more than happy to snow throw your drive!  (I'm sure you know it's 1 degree here now!) The next few days are going to be a winter wonderland, funny, I want to be in ONEderland! I wasn't much of a poster to the board, but I am finding this very helpful and I am grateful for the feedback and accountablity. 3 flights of stairs 2x today, more to come after work. THANKS AND LOVE TO ALL, Tmac

HI All, I'm off to work here in the frigid Midwest.  Yes, I did move today, not as much as I'd like, but I did a 2mile WATP dvd.  Those tend to be my workouts of choice.  I have serious rotator cuff problems in the left shoulder, so I have to be really, really careful with what I do with my arms. Weight is up a couple of pounds the last few days, I think I've been eating alot of salty foods.  At least I hope it's jus****er retention See y'all later. Debra M.

Hi Debra, Thank you for joining us on this thread.  Good for you, I know how it's so hard to workout when it's cold outside.  Our bodies want us to stay in the warm bed....    Awesome job getting that DVD out and moving!!! May I suggest if you are not already doing so, to use  your measurements and or a body fat comp to judge your success.  Those scales are the devil Keep up what you are doing and I am sure things will start moving... Take care, kathy

Hello!  I had surgery in Sept. 05, and went from 280 down to 150.  I had gained 12 lbs, but now am doing my all to lose those 12 lbs, plus hopefully a few more.  I have never exercised (I know, I know), but I am now! Yesterday and today I did about 20 minutes of Denise Austin.  Whoo hoo for me!  Now I'm sore LOL!

Hi, It's hard to say oops, I did it but you are already successful in stopping the gain now and starting to workout.  Make sure you get back to the rules of the pouch also.  It's eating and exercising that gets us to where we want to be Email me if you want a copy of the rules.  I just re-read them myself and I had forgotten a lot of them. We want to see you here everyday!!! WAY TO GO Take care, Kathy

I had to seriously re-evaluate why I was gaining, and I took a good, long look at my lifestyle.  So now: 1-no more night-time snacking (a biggie for me) 2-no more Starbucks 3-no more soda I am drinking a ton of decaf green tea, upped my protein considerably, and am having a big salad for dinner and then NOTHING else for the rest of the night. I have lost 2 lbs since Monday
