I feel like I can eat too much

Hi Jodi! Merry Christmas to you and yours! Our christmas will be  bit different this time without my daughter coming home. She just got engaged on Thrusday evening - Josh took her to Famuous Daves' Barbecue for dinner and romand and she was oblivious to it all - he really surprised her with the rng came outand he got down on his hands and knees.  We of course criyyed the whole time. Josh had even called her dad to ask permission so we were just handing out waiing for the phonecall.which finally arrived - Thursday evening.He took her to Famous Dave's Barbecue for dinner because that is where they had met. She was so floored! But came out with a beatuiful ring and seems  very happy which is what counts most in my book! Hope things are going great for you too! Diona

Diona,  Congrats to your daughter on her engagement...how sweet.  Christmas will be quite at my house just the kids and us.  We use to spend Christmas with my in-laws but they recently moved to Utah.  We did go up last Christmas but this year they went to their other sons' house and will be here for New Years.   Hope you guys have a great Christmas, sounds like you already are with your daughters engagement.  Now the fun begins, planning for the wedding.  In some ways I can't wait for that time with my kids but I think or hope I have a few years to go... We can all eat more now. I never did make it to my goal, about 10 pounds shy and now have put about 15 back on. Its not so much what you eat at meals its what you eat inbetween. If I eat just protein Im fine, but its the grazing thats the problem. And I dont dump on anything. Last night I had 4 xmas cookies after supper. I wish I would so I wouldnt eat sweets. We are suppose to be able to eat 1 - 1 1/2 cups of food after about 1 year, and I definetly can. My husband is always amazed at how much I can eat, seeing I could hardly eat anything after surgery. Soon as the holidays are over Im going to do the 5 day pouch reset and get back to basics, good luck to you, Debra

Hello, I can understand how you are feeling. First you want to loose more weight and second concerned about how much you can eat. I would strongly recommend you doing the five day pouch test. Got to 5daypouchtest.com. This will allow you to test your pouch, it should shrink, and rejump start your weight loss. You will go back to the original diet you were on right after surgery.
