Hi!

Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself.  My name if John and I live in Sunny South Florida, Boynton Beach, between West Palm and Ft. Lauderdale.  I am almost 21 months post op, so I figure I qualify as a WLS grad, and am looking forward to making friends here on the forum. I was at 432 pounds 2 weeks post op.  12 months pre-op, I hit my current weight of 185 +/-.  I wore a size 58 waist and a 4X shirt pre-op and now wear a 32 or 34 waist (depending on the pants type) and a medium to large shirt (again, depending on type).  I work out at the gym 4 to 5 times a week, and hang out at the beach most weekends.  My goal in 2008 is to finally learn to surf. I love my life and feel like I'm 20 again.  Actually, I weigh less now than I did in high school.  Again, just looking forward to making friends and being part of the forum.  I also hang out on the Florida and Mens forums.  Happy New Year all. Hey John. Welcome. You most definitely qualify as a grad. One of my goals for the next few years is to learn to surf as well. I've given myself more than a year to accompli**** because there really isn't great surfing here in TX so I know I'll only be able to practice on vacations. I'm a workout fiend as well and having a strong core definitely helps with the balance required for surfing. Congrats on a very successful journey!
