Excellent idea about posting the pouch test link.  I've never book marked it and find myself doing a google search everytime I want to refer to it!  And I feel the same way you do, it's not too hard.  If anyone starts getting frantic, just think this way----you can do anything for 5 days, right? And come here and b***ch if you need to!  How do you like the nectar lemon tea? Does it taste like lemon tea?  Early post-op. I loved the green apple nectar, as well as vanilla proteins, and then all of a sudden I couldn't stand either!  I found a chocolate I love and I've stuck to it since. But, I may have to broaden my horizons one of these days. I hear you on the "too cold to get out and walk"....but I have no excuse. Hubby set up the treadmill for me and it's just waiting for me. Tonight, tonight....

The lemon tea is OK.  My favorite is the Roadside Lemonade.  I got the variety pack with the Roadside Lemonade, the Lemon Tea and the Fuzzy Navel.  The Fuzzy Navel is my least favorite.  I find with all three that if I mix it with 18-20 ounces of water, they are much better. For a warm taste treat - Heat 1 cup of skim and 1 cup of Oregon Chai Sugar-Free Chai Latte Concentrate.  Add 1 scoop of Anywhey powder and blend. Take care.

For those of you who love to walk and cant tolerate the cold (who can, since surgery????) Go get a Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds DVD,,its 18 minutes indoor walking and moves, for a1 mile,,40 minutes for the two mile. They both come on the same dvd..and its a good way to get your exercise in without freezing! You can get em cheap at EBAY, or Best Buy, Or WalMart,,and I heard through another poster that they are the special on QVC this week!! Check em out! She may even have a website where you can preview em, Im  not usre, have never looked, but might just do that! Blessings Betsy

I walk 2 miles on my treadmill everyday(only takes about 35 - 40 min ) and I know everyone has at least 1/2 hour that they can devote to walking its the best and cheapest exersice you can do. I also lift weight 4-5 times a week. Id rather walk outside but living in wisconsin makes it a little hard. I dont like the cold. If you dont have weights those resistance bands work really well also. Good luck, Debra

Hey, pouch people, how'd your day go?  My day is just about over, and here's how I did: 7am-8am lots of decaf tea 10am protein shake lots of decaf tea in between 1pm protein shake 3pm chicken broth 5pm protein shake 7pm about 1.5 cups of lentil/barley/vegetable soup with a turkey broth base I will have a c. of SF jello in a few minutes, and some decaf coffee before bed....coffee has become a treat for me, after breaking my "coffee and nothing else" habit.  I'm not REALLY hungry. I think it's normal to think you're hungry or think about food for a couple of days.  For me, this plan really is doable.  Warm fluids help me get through the head hunger. The treadmill is still waiting for me..   Leslie Sansome sounds doable and I have a DVD. When hubby gets home I'll have him hook up the DVD player for me, and then listen to his lecture about how he set up the treadmill for me and there it sits.  I'm so cold.  My basement is cold. And lonely.  Oh, well. Baby steps, baby steps. How did you do today? Are you crawling out of your skin, or are you okay with your food plan or the pouch test?  How are you coping?   Give yourself a pat on the back.  This is a new year, a new beginning.    We can do this! Good night!
