Hi Folks, Because of my tendency to overdo it, I have gotten an incisional hernia 8 months after my vsg gastrectomy. I will need to have surgery pretty soon. I had 3 of those surgeries before the vsg so I'm getting to be an old hand at it! However, since the sleeve, pain pills don't seem to be working!  I was given vicodin..nothing. Percocet...not much help either and it made me very woozy and my blood pressure plummeted. This froms someone whose bp runs high normally. I attended a seminar at my doctor's office right before the surgery and it seemed to me someone mentioned that narcotics can cause low blood pressure after surgery. My GP pooh poohed this idea. So did I dream I heard this? Has anyone else heard of this? And if so, anyway to counteract the effects?  I don't really want to take anything stronger since I have to go to work and can't spend the day zonked out as fun as that might be. Would appreciate anyone's comments
