Hey Ladies, Sorry I did not post yesterday,  but I am here and going strong.  I am so hyped over this and I feel great.  I did experience diarrea on Monday and and last night.  I have not got on the scale, I am waiting until my next weigh in day.  I feel lighter though.  Yesterday I got in a whopping 121 grams of PROTEIN.    SO here  are the stats.. CALORIES 830 FAT 9.5 CARBS 70 I feel great and I am looking forward to eating some tuna today.  I think for the most part, I am going to continue with a lot of the liquids/soup. They are satisfying.  I hope everyone is hanging in there!!!! Oh yeah,  I hit the health club and did 20 minutes on the treadmill targeting at Fat Burning Zone and I did some weight machines and 50 situps!

Hey Erika!  I'm hanging in there and doing great - had the "runnies" yesterday too, didnt feel so great, tired, headache, but I hung in there, got in 110 g protein, worked out for 30 minutes, couldnt resist the scale this morning and I am DOWN 6.2 LBS!!!!  Feeling good this morning with great energy!  Had an egg for breakfast, and I have my little Tuna cup just waiting for me - lol.  I've got to get this carb monster off my back - and I do feel like I am getting some control back - thank goodness!! Wow Becky!   6.2 lbs   that is awesome.  You are tempting me to get on the scale tomorrow at the health club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All, I am doing well on the third day as well, I am having a little trouble with the exhaustion that I am feeling- really makes me realize the effect the sugar/caffeine has on me. I have been doing really great with the water so I have been back and  forth to the bathroom ALOT - I have not weighed yet( I had my husband hide the scales after I weighed Monday am!), but I also feel "lighter" Scrambled eggs tasted good this morning and I am going to have some broccoli cheese squares for lunch probably eggs again for dinner as I don't like fish. Looking forward to tomm. do you think meatballs would be legal on day 4? I am also going to pay attention to getting in more protien as I am sure I have not had as much as you ladies so I am going to try and keep better track of it from now on. I must say I do feel better about myself emotionally that I have taken control back so I am so thankful to have "dropped in " to this board and found out about the 5dpt! Hey,Bridgett - I am planning on doing the same.  I purchased some ground turkey.  I am going to do a meatloaf or meatball.  I am going to add garlic, eggs(good protein), onions, celery, tomatoes, smashed black beans (good protein) and some Mrs. Dash.  Way to go,  hang in there!

Bridget,  Do you have the recipe for your broccoli cheese squares?  Sounds yummy.  I'm feeling better today, but isnt it amazing how crappy you feel when you first cut out the carbs!  I had a fabulous lunch, grilled salmon and steamed veggies - but I LOVE all fish.  Good luck and hang in there!  We can do it!!
