I will be 2 yrs out 1/16/08 and I have been able to eat sugar after a meal with no problems.  I just cant eat it on an empty stomach.   Recently (New Years Eve) I had a small peice of cake about an hour after dinner and with in an hour I was dumping bad.  I got nauseated, dizzy and just felt awful and incrediblely weak.  I got uspstairs to bed and laid down and was asleep before I hit the pillow.  Has anyone else notice a greater intolerance further out?   Charlene

I to have been having this happen to me. I will be 2 years out in march and have never had a problem with sweets.  Ever since xmas if I eat something sweet I break out in red blotches all over my body and get really warm and dizzy. This happens with a glass of wine once in a while also, just never know. Last night I had a sliver of some pumkin bread that my sister made, about an hour later I felt really warm and my leggs were covered in red blotches. Really odd, Im kinda glad because I was worried about being able to eat sweets all this time, but its really scary. Im glad you brought this up, maybe we can get some answers, otherwise I was going to wait until my 2 year checkup and ask my Dr. Debra

I know what you mean.  I got so I could eat sugar as long as it wasn't a lot.  That is not a good thing.  Now I really have to be careful about the amount and type of sugar I eat.  Actually I make the decision of whether or not is work dummping over.  I say yes to two small ice cream cones a week, and not on a empty stomach.  Then I can deal with the sweats and nausea.  No foamies thank God !   Hazel.
