Hi Kathy! Its freezing here today too!!! I'm fighting a head cold, but I did 3miles WATP~trying to honor my committment to do 30min of cardio 5-6 per week~that's probably the ONLY reason I did it, LOL!

HI everyone well I did my baby steps exercise and walked my mile.  As I haven't been able to use the stepper again yet (gotta sort out a mat for it) I made sure I walked briskly and made sure I pushed myself a little bit.  Also been up and down the stairs at home a couple of times (we have two flights). Keep warm those of you with snow - how I envy you... See you all tomorrow

One of my grown daughters was in town Sat. to go to 2 friends' baby showers, so while she was gone, I went to the gym.  Got in an excellent cardio and weight machine workout (both upper & lower body since I hadn't been to the gym on Fri.). This morn., I did a similar workout, only I concentrated on just lower body.  After getting home and cleaning up, I started feeling kinda sick.  Not nauseated, just very weak.  So the rest of the day, I've been rotating between the couch and our bed, sleeping off & on.  Still feel crummy this evening.  No specific symptoms other than just that "sick all over my body" feeling.  I'm OK on vitamins, so I guess I've just got some kind of bug. Glad I got in my workout early this morn.! Jo

I know everyone else is probably in bed by now, what with all the workouts y'all are doing. :)  I thought I'd check in, as I've been quiet here all week.  It's because I've been trying to work my butt off!!!!!  You know I mainly do the WATP dvds, and boy, oh boy, have I been doing them.  I still am finding the new Four Fast Miles very, very challenging, which I like.  I worked out six out of seven days last week.  Four days a week is my minimum.  Last week I walked 20 miles.  I've walked seven miles yesterday and today.  I've got 49 miles so far this month.  And yet, my weight is staying the same, up three pounds since before Christmas.  This is the first weight bump up since I stopped losing last April.  I don't know if this is a natural bounce back gain, but I think it would have happened sooner than this.  I don't know why these three pounds are bothering me so much, other than I worry about it being ten.  I am eating the same as always, so I guess even though I have upped the exercise, I will have to cut down some calories  to lose these three pounds.  Ugh.
