Well Kathy S. should be back sharing this post with everyone daily tomorrow. The fun cruise has docked. Thanks for joining me this week. It forced me to get out and move so thanks for that.

So on this last day...

How did you move?

Me... not really traditional exercise but it's the first nice day after rain so I'm weeding while they are loose and easy to get out. ~Michelle

Michelle Thanks for keeping this thread going while Kathy was away having fun!  I LOVE the emoticons you have  Anyway, back to my routine today.  Walked a mile and 30 minutes on my stepper doing 4500 steps.  So not only have I managed to increase my time on the stepper, I've increased the speed so am getting more in that 30 minutes woohooooo.  I feel so much better after exercising. Thanks for posting everyone - it is keeping me at it.

I've been bad, but I'm posting anyway, just to kick my own butt. The last couple weeks, I'd really gotten back on track w/ my workouts and eating, but this past wkend I just blew it.  I went out of town, which prevented working out (since last Thurs.).  And although I did reasonably well w/ my eating while I was gone on Fri. & Sat., for some bizarre reason when I got back yest. I just fell apart and ate everything in sight.  And we weren't even at a Super Bowl party or anything!  I could have gone to work out yest.--but didn't.   I could have gotten back on track today w/ my eating and exercising--but didn't. I'm ready to return to sanity tomorrow, honestly.  I'll be back here to report tomorrow evening.    Jo

Always,
Jo

Hi Jo I just wanted to thank you so much for your honesty and for still posting.  It's all to easy (for me) to not post when I've had an off day, but it has really helped me to see that I'm not the only one that it happens to. Plus it has shown me that I can post the bad days, then get right back up to a better day the next day. Thanks again, and I hope Tuesday is better for you.

Greetings all from sunny Cancun! I just got back from fun in the sun.  I didn't gain any weight so the beach walks in the am and all the pool time must've kept things in check. One big wow moment I have to share.  We went the the ruins, Chitzen Itza, which was really breathtaking.  At first I thought, big deal a bunch of rocks, but when I got there it was SOMETHING to see.   I was able to easily walk and manuver, climb and do everything on the tour.  THEN, we went to a sink hole to swim, it was 90ft to the water and then the water was another 150ft deep.  You have to take many stairs down to where you jump in!  Cannonball!!!!! 3 YEARS AGO I COULD'VE NEVER DONE THIS! (if I had not been working since Nov 19th on excersice I would have been winded doing the stairs, etc.) I almost cried tears of joy with my smile from ear to ear So I am back home now and catching up with bills, errands, lanundry etc last night but tonight I plan to do a cardio b4 the snow storm tonight.  (Dr has me taking a rest with anything involving my elbow for a week, burcitis(sp).  And the results of my sleep study are I still have a mild apnea so I have to get my adjustment study soon.  (I think my stall might be somewhat due to how tired, worn dowm I've been even with the 5 day a week workouts) I am so now more motivated to get to 175 than ever because if 212 can be so much fun I can't imagine what 175 can be. Sorry so long, had to catch up for a week away! I am so grateful for this post! Thank you Kathy and all you fellow movers! Tmac

Good morning peeps.  I haven't seen Tuesdays did you move to lose so I am going to post here.  I am a creature of habit and want to develop the habit of checking in.  I hope Kathy S had a wonderful time on her cruise.  I power walked for an hour and I am sure that I walked further then 4.5 miles ( lost count of the laps).  I have decided to treat myself with a good quality pedometer and a heart rate monitor.  When I hit my mini goal of 180,  I am going to buy myself some running shoes and then perhaps I will step it up and start running.  I cant wait for the winter thaw,  I have a wonderful 4 mile hike that starts at my front door and has several inclines and plenty of recovery areas and I have lots of areas to explore to lengthen that walk as I improve.
