Hey Everyone, I sure missed you all.....  I didn't think I would make it back as they close the airport in Chicago and I was stuck in Nashville.  Then I heard they were going to get storms in Nashville and back home.  So I just made it back.  I hear that Nashville area got hit with tornados and all.  I pray everyone was OK.  Our ice storm hit last night.  They got snow up north and we got ice  and now it's snowing like crazy here.   Nothing like coming back to winter. Well, while I was gone I tried every chance I had to move....I always took the stairs, walked, walked, walked.  They had the decked marked so you could walk/run on it.   We walked when we got off the ship and the best part is we danced, danced and danced.  Every night we danced.  Now we got some serious exercise and it was fun.  So if you hate exercise find something fun to do and  you won't realize you are exercising... So my friends,  Did You Move To Lose Today?  Let's get caught up and let me know what's been happening with you and your exercise while I was gone. A BIG THANKS TO EGGFACE FOR FILLING IN!!!!!  THANKS EGGFACE, YOU ROCK Stay Strong, Sexy and Sassy Take care, Kathy

Hi Kathy good to have you back.  Glad you had a great time.  Egg Face took great are of us!! No time to officially exercise for me today, but did some walking around so wasn't on my butt all day ~ not much to really count though.  Hopefully life will be back to fairly normal for a few days starting tomorrow, so it's back to the schedule.

It's sounds like you are going through a crazy time right now, but let me point out if I may,  you still found time to move by walking.  Kudos to you for making it a priority. Talk to you tomorrow Take care, Kathy

Welcome home Kathy,  I just got done with my 1 hour walk and I know that I am walking at least 4.5 miles on that walk..  I am going to invest in a heart rate monitor and a good quality pedometer as a treat for myself.  My mini goal is to get down to 180 and then I will by me some running shoes and maybe, just maybe I will start running.
Back on Track Dana

Hi Dana Your picture is so beautiful You have really come a long way, we are so proud of you  This is a great plan.  You are doing the distance but you want to make sure you are getting your heart rate up to burn the max cals.  As you get better in shape it requires you increasing your speed as well as distance. Please keep us updated as we want to cheer  you on Take care, Kathy

It's so good to have you back, Kathy--even though I'm sure you're just shell-shocked over this weather! I loved the pics that Charlie posted a couple days ago! I had been doing so well most of Jan. with my working out--and now I'm having a little struggle again.  Went out of town last Fri.-Sat., so I knew I wasn't going to get in any "official" workout in,on those days (other than walking from shopping literally all day on Sat.!)   But then I really just got lazy on Sun. . . . and we didn't go to any Super Bowl festivities, so I have no excuse.    And then there was Mon. . . didn't make it then either.  I just get in a funk sometimes and can't do it.  I'm way better if I don't let more than 1 day pass w/o working out; more than that, and I start "thinking" about it too much!! So, OK, I did get it in gear yest. and went to the gym.   I honestly was having a problem in my head again, but my hubby was going, so I did too.   Today--I just did not make it--I just got very busy cleaning (for bridge club at my house tomorrow evening), so I did some reaching, stretching, and moving--just not a "real" workout! So . . . I'm not doing the best, but I will get past this. Jo

Always,
Jo

Sounds like you've been pretty active to me Jo ~ even if it isn't the traditional work outs!!  You inspire me to keep going and get back into it if I've slipped up.  Thanks :o)

Hi Jo, We all get in a funk from time to time.  Now if I had been here I would say take a day off but the second day let's get going.  I can give you a kick in the butt if you need it  As you were honest enough to share, that very quickly one day can turn into 2 and then 3 and the longer you wait the harder it it so get back on track. Ok, today is Thursday....  G E T  TO  T H E   G Y M I want to see on my post later that you did so.  If you ever need to talk just PM me.  I have been there done that and so know what you are going through.  It helps sometimes to just talk. See you later
