Antibiotics

Don't take someone else's leftover antibiotics - that's never a good idea. Not to mention the fact that you should ALWAYS finish any course of prescribed antibiotics (tsk, tsk. on the DH - hopefully whatever he had did not/does not recur!). You'd be better off to go see your PCP, get an evaluation of your specific condition, and get a prescription especially for you. Hope you are feeling better soon - Kellie

My Dear BF,
You know better than to take someone else's drugs. I do believe with the "icky" green stuff, you should get yourself off to the GP this morning. That could very well be pneumonia or on its' way to being that which would mean complete bed rest and possible hospitlization. We know that would drive you absolutely "bonkers" if you had to stop everything for 36-48 hours.
Promise me that you will skip our coffee date and go see your doctor instead. We can always do coffee.................I can't always find a friend like you.
Love - Always,
Granny Eileen One should never take another persons prescription medications, antibiotics or anything else.
Different antibiotics are used to fight different bacterial infections, different dosages might be ordered by weight or age.
It is important for someone taking antibiotics to complete taking the whole prescription.
To completely get that bacterial infection out of their system. Even if you are feeling better you need to finish all those pills.
You should see a doctor and not self prescribe antibiotics for your self. Your health and well being are more important than your fear or dislike of doctors.
I don't mean to be harsh, but I am a RN with decades or experience.
ps.
Be sure to check on that DH of your's the next time he is on antibiotics to be sure he finishes all his medication.
Hope you feel better soon.
Sher
