I'm getting back on track with my exercise and I've begun to use weights to tone up flabby skin Now some skin I KNOW won't ever tone, but I have a LOT of FLAB that can be toned up Is it POSSIBLE that my skin/muscles can tone and will my skin catch up to muscle tone or will that cause more sagging skin?? Any info is appreciated!

My arms were only a little wrinkly and flabby, but that went away when I lifted weights and filled out the area with muscle tone.  Now, bat-wings won't go away, but small wrinklies will!

My skin was sagging in areas for the first two years...I did some serious muscle work outs with the job I had building decks and carrying lumber up and down stairs.  I was absolutely stunned how my skin suddenly went where it was supposed to go for the most part. I used skin firming lotion religiously too!  I still do. Even my breasts have tightened from these sad.... long...Never mind, the visual kills me!  :)  Now I have a little 36 B cup and they look perty good.  I'm not 20 anymore, and that's just a fact....but toning muscles really REALLY makes a difference for certain!  The older you get the more elasticity you lose. So I do what I can before I lose my menstral cycle.  Even when I don't work out (like I should) I do still stretch tai chi style every day because I am sooo lazy in the winter! Drinking lots of water and green teas...eating purple food and berries and enough good fats is amazing on skin too!  I use Neutrogena with Copper(As in the mineral not a tanning dye) Skin Firming Lotion and I LOVE IT!  It seems to have made a difference in my skin even over the alst year. I could be wrong, but I can live without plastics and accept my body with it's flaws. I don't think I could have if I looked like I did when I first lost the weight! (Before heavy duty lifting) Good luck! Anita
