I am so excited. It appears we have a lot of members doing the 8 week challenge and the goals we set for ourselves yesterday were awesome
I got back from my boxing class last night and past out, so I am still answering your posts. I will, I promise.
Just got back from the gym today and did what Oxygen Magazine calls the PUSH DAY.
Chest
Dumbbell bench press - 12.5 lbs 2x15
Dumbbell flye - 10 lbs 2x15
Seated press (machine) no weight, 2x15 (not sure what no weight is, but I couldn't add any and do this, I felt like a weekling)
Shoulders
Seated dumbbell press - 12.5 lbs 2x15
Seated dumbbell lateral raises - 10 lbs 4x8 (I am really weak in the shoulders and back and these were very hard for me, but I didn't want to go lower on the weight so I broke up my sets to 4 sets of 8 reps)
Bar raises - Machine - ?? I have my list downstairs and don't remember the weight, 2x15
Triceps
Dumbbell extensions - 12.5 lbs 2x15
Dumbbell kickbacks - 10lbs 2x15
Bench dips - 2x15
Machine dips - 12 resistance 2x8
Rope pull down - 17.5 2x12 12.5lbs 1x10
I will be going to my kicking boxing tonight for cardio workout.

I soooo don't like to already post that I may not be able to work out tonight... but I wanted to explain in case I don't post later... First off, I am traveling tomorrow (leaving straight to the airport from work and returning, God willing, next Monday), and I have a million things to do to get ready tonight... I only got about 3 hours of sleep because my sinuses have been acting up, and I must get into bed at a decent time tonight... SO! I do want to try to finish up all I need to do and still get in my workout today, but I cannot promise... I hate that I sound like already giving excuses, but on the other hand I didn't want you to think I'm losing my motivation or sumptin'! Know what I mean? :-)

You know... I always do that at the airport... If I have a long lay-over, I don't sit down... I just wal****il it's time to get on the plane... :-) it's funny how I don't really associate that with exercise, but it is! :-)
I don't have a laptop, so I won't be coming here until Tuesday... This trip will be challenging both on the exercise and eating fronts, but I intend to give it my best :-)

Ang, I got 3 hrs also but not from my sinus infection, been taking avelox and its clearing me good but I tried to keep up with Dana and her coffee LOL and drank a cup in morning and one after dinner which I knew was gonna kill me but I wanted it....I don't know how she does it. I took a sleeping pill at 11 and 3 I took another, a different scipt and I still was awake till nearly 6.
Dana what is funnier is I only started drinking it again 6 months ago...had stop years ago because my motor would not stop...I used it as an excuse to go out dancing at after hour discos in the 80's & early 90's...guess that is why I was so thin but when I moved to Fl with my ex husband, present husband now, LOL I had to make him stop drinking it...he was so hyper I couldn't stand looking at him .,,.he was just like a lady chit chatting constantly, with hand on hip and all. He still is not drinking it but now its because of his heart so when he sneaks it and I see that chit chat starting and the hand on the hip I go off on him for lying and he always lies about having a cup at work ROFL Now just imagine this marine with his hand on hip! Too funny

Thank you very much for starting this eight weeks to a better you post. I found thur the last few days,. How I got off of track with the holidays and the major stress over here. This is sure a true eye opener to me.
Plus I have a lot to be thank ful to know there are wonderful women out there that. Have join in the eight weeks to a better you... To support one another and to help each other meet there goals. Thur the good times and the evil carb times.
I wish all of you wonderful women a good journey thur these next eight weeks. And know we are all here for one another:}
Okay seeing how over here our nice 65 degree is gone :{ And we had icy rain over here today. My work out had to change some. So instead of walking. I chose to ride my in door bike for eight miles. Plus I walked four blocks to the gym and worked out for a hour and a half.
Plus so far the evil carbs where not added to my diet so far today.
So I think now I will go and lay down for a while. Because I will sure get. My eight and half hour of walking in tonite at my job lol
