Accountability... what did you eat Friday

Oh my... I am so sick to my tummy from them stupid chocolate covered almonds.  I cant even eat let alone have my ice cream treat of the night.  grrr... I did it girls.. i walked out and through the rest of them in the trash along with the sf malt balls I havent tried yet.  I figure i better not try it so I dont find somehting else to thinki about.. are you all proud of me... come on give up the props on that.. I was brave... just ignore the rope that has me tied to this chair so I cant go save them.   B- shake and go lean protein and fiber cereal with half a cup of milk.  300 cals and  38 pro S- almonds.. yes an oz.. 200 cals...  To full to eat much lunch so L- four bites of my chili... maybe 100 cals S- protein bar 170 than more chocolate almonds.. D- to full again to eat.  3 bites of cabbage and hamburger... still churning in my tummy... maybe another hundred calories.  and 10 protein. Now the almonds.. I figure about 300 cals with 10 protein for the whole mess. yes.. I was bad. totals for this mess.  1100 calories and 68 protein. Normally I would have ice cream with protein in it.. my tummy is just way to queasy for that.. may just call it a night and go to bed. Guys my ship is a float and the captain has fallen over board.  the seas are rough and the chocolate almonds are calling me... where is my crew to hold down the mast and tighten the jibs.  I hope I find them tomorrow cause they definiately abandoned ship today.. Carla, sorry the tummy hurts, I UNDERSTAND......so very proud of you for chunking the s/f choco almonds, that's will-power lady. Today was much better for me; wasn't tempted and very happy with the outcome.  My water intake was not good though and I have a headache tonight.  I'll have to drink some more before I head off to bed. March 21, 2008

What a wirl wind of a day.....trying to get the kids everything they need for Christmas 2 ...or what we commonly refer to as easter....lol. B:  Protein shake with peanut butter, 8 fudge striped cookies, banana S:  2 bagel bites with cream cheese, 1 apple, recesses peanut butter cup L:  1 chicken cutlet, fries, 8oz of fried BBQ chicken, salad extra ranch dressing, 1 fried shrimp S:  6 donut holes D:  6 inch philly cheese steak sub, with extra cheese and mayo. fries, large coke S:  5 donut holes, S:   protein shake with 2 scoops of protein and extra peanut butter S:   salad with 1000 island dressing, 6 oz of chicken, bacon bits S:  Snickers bar Scott

Not sure of the total numbers but you id good.  I see a lot of carbs in this.  Not sure about whether you mal absorb there as well..   I am guessing total cals are around 1800 to 2000 for the day.  Are you trying to loose or maintain at this point.  Let us know so we can support you in your journey.  Hope your Easter is awesome and you have a great weekend. carla

I'm just trying to maintain.  I ate closer to 4000 calories yesterday, mabye a bit more.   I don't malabsorb carbs, which is one reason I'm eating so many....otherwise I'd start losing weight again.    I sometimes journal what I eat just to make sure mentally I've gotten in enough protein...my work out routine requires  I eat at least 150 but I should get in closer to 200 grams a day. I was estimating your intake doing the DS math.  yes it is much higher than that.  I was taking in to account what you dont absorb.  Would I be right on it than Carla

Scott... That peanut butter in the protein drink sounds soooo good...Think I am going to have to try that. Thank gawd my kids are grown and there will be NO easter candy here!  Not a single jeallybean  or peanutbutter egg!  :::Crying:::: I will make rainbow colored boiled eggs...Don't wann **** off the Easter Bunny who talks to Santa quite a bit!  Happy Easter!

It took me forever to find a protein shake that wouldn't make me gassy.  I'm intollerant of both WHEY and sugar alcohols and most sugar substitues.  I finally found one  that is  basically egg protein and stevia (it's a natural herb that is used as a sweetner).  Anyway, I get the vanilla ice cream flavored shake, add to it a big heap of peanut butter, and blend.  It's actually really good......and my dog enjoys it as well (I always blend a bit extra for her). I've been wanting to try that stevia...I hear it is about 3 times sweeter than sugar so for the expensive price of a package or bottle (i see it in different forms)  It might be worth the expense??? Here it's runs about $9-12....and the packages don't tell you how far it goes...Is it worth the cost?  I hate using artificial sweetners just because it's "processed" and fake and I have even stooped to using regular organic cane sugar for some recipes, honey or pure maple syrup...but the latter two have flavors that are too strong for most things I can't do a lot of whey either (can tolerate a little)...But I don't mind soy...I know how you guys are afraid soy will make ya grow boobs so I totally understand the egg protein instead! LOL (That's why I like soy!)  My dog wont eat anything but baked chicken with rice or barley and green beans... spoiled rotton little mutt! She got fixed the day I had my RNY...and I swear they did GB on her too!  LOL She used to eat everything...won't eat for days if I try dog food... until I make her chicken...She has me trained.
