Now this is just not right. I've been eating SF Chocolate Cashews and you had trouble with the Almonds. I ate almonds just about a half hour ago and now I'm sick...Eeew. I'm headed to teh kitchen to toss those Almonds. Power of suggestion, Carla, I'm sure!

OH those SF Almonds are totally gone. I won't do that again at all. I may just get rid of the cashews too...I think I'll go get lemon peanuts or something...I know I need to have high protein snacks. But I do agree, a pact is a good thing..I agree. NO MORE SF CHOCOLATE COVERED ALMONDS....never again crosses heart and hopes to DYE if I EVER eat them again!   I did something with the TVP (or TSP) today. I mixed it with alittle water and some salsa and put it on boiled cooked potatoes with alittle cheese on top...Good dinner when I couldn't decide on a meat that I wanted to cook.

I have found I can not eat a lot of nuts since wls.  I can eat a few, but I have terrible pain if I eat a lot.  I have promised myself to leave those things along.  I had a party this week and bought a can.  Not many were eaten.  I ate some and gave them to my DH and told him to hide them.  Of course he hid them where I would find them, and I ate some more.  I am just not buying any more party or not.  After three years I learn things about myself and my rny.  Patricia.

LOL  I eat plain raw almonds...just an ounce...and you can be certain I will NEVER get mine chocolate covered after hearing you and Carla's trouble!  I don't even want to try!  LOL I'll tell you what though...Trader Joe's makes Dark chocolate covered roasted soy beans that are sooooo delicious! LMAO!  I haven't bought any in a long time...too addictive...I remember I couldn't eat too many of those or my taste buds freaked out from the richness of the chocolate...But ooh! Those are good! Okay, so I'm off to Trader Joes for soy beans...Dark chocolate sounds really good. Low sugar too. I'm hopeless snack person but I can portion them and stick to that...so far.

They are a better choice than the chocolate covered almonds... They are only 10 calories lower...but... They are lower sugar, and fat...but higher in protein (almost double) and fiber. They are almost double in iron too! (important for me) They are a unique flavor too...very rich so even if you wanted to eat them by the double handfuls...you pretty much can't! LOL (I can't anyway) They kinda have a mocha-coffee crunchy flavor... Now I want some too.

Mocha Coffee...I'm there for sure. LOL. I'll have to pay particular attention to the serving size and portion them out ahead of time...

Thanks!
