I didn't snack again today either. I was trying to be good so I could report, like a good girl, to support group...Which I did. Tomorrow we plan on a drive down to Ventura to walk around and see the boats..This is the 17th year of the Antelope Valley Poppy Festival so it will be a zoo locally...Better to leave. And then today, dh's favorite sports car broke down on the freeway. Rushed home and got the durango and the trailer (I happened to be following him in my Mustang) and came back really quick and got it...Semi trucks zooming by, the winch motor wouldn't work, manual all the way (as you can tell, I'm just the same sort of LUGNUT as dh is...motor heads abound in our family). Brought the poor baby home on the trailer. It looks like it might be okay but probably threw a rod, new engine time. ouch. dh needed a hobby but this wasn't in the crystal ball.. List for today: Breakfast: malto meal, protein powder, soy milk and 1/4 of store bought dehydrated strawberries. This was too sweet and they made me very nauseous.  Snack: 1/4 cup of soy beans (to level off the dumping/hypoglycemic reaction) Lunch: 1/2 a chicken quesadilla, Snack: SoBe Protein water, 1 can iced coffee, 1 cup of left over chicken taco (measured this time so I didn't over do it).  Dinner: probably the other half of that chicken quesadilla.  Dessert: Possibly some Kettle corn microwave popcorn...I've been craving popcorn for some time and really really want some more.. Totals probably look like this: Calories: 2004 Fat: 76 Carbs:228 (popcorn will do that...Maybe I'll skip it) Protein: 113

Well, mark it down to not wanting to eat...I skipped dinner completely for the 3 cups of popcorn. So my totals changed: Calories: 1694 Fat: 61 Carbs: 196 Protein: 103 My protein is way too low. AND I tried some powdered Calcium Citrate in my malto meal this morning (Sunday). I thought nothing could get me to stop eating the hot cereal. Didn't eat but 3/4 of it...Yuck! That powdered junk is NASTY. So I'm off to a slow start on Sunday too.

Carla ask MIL if you can bring the treats next time...maybe she will get a healthy hint but good luck finding something something all will like. I am so stuffed since dinner...I actually had 3 pieces of pizza & very uncomfortable, usually eat 2. My courtesy packet from Jay  Robb arrived just as I was getting ready to have a drink...so tired his whey isolate chocolate, not bad but got this burning in  my stomach about 20 min later and very gassy. Not sure if it was the stevia (first time I ever had it) or his blend of protein. Never get that with Unjury and LoCarb Slimfast in 3-1/2 yrs. So I will stick to that.  Later in afternoon I mixed the Jay Robb egg white protein and yuk, spit it right out. Can't even describe the taste. So no recommendation on that at all. April 19, 2008

It is so hard to find things you will like.. they dont give out samples unless you are at some fitness show than with your allergies I am sure you have to be extra careful.  I stick to my isopure dutch chocolate.. love it and not gonna change.  bit more expensive but I know I will drink it.. wow.. the pizza slices are lower than I thought they would be.  you had great protein and all your numbers are great.  way to go there... hope you find something to do with that protein.. I hate wasting stuff but if its nasty it wont go past my lips. see ya tomorrow Carla

Hey Carla, hubby drank the egg white and said it was not good but he got in 24 grams of protein without getting into my unjury.  The pizza was whole wheat with ricotta cheese high protein and a little bit of provolone to give it taste some sweet onion and fresh garlic...I wanted protein so I spinkle a unjury which I did not count and added a little lean gound beef which he wanted on half then I ate that side. Usually I get one up the road and he figured it out for me and its less without the meat. I made this one here and entered all the numbers and this is what came out on sparkspeople. Doing 5 day tomorrow, I am just wanting carbs too much lately and even though I don't indulge very often I don't like the craving feeling. I feel so much better when I stick to fish.

Carla, this low of a protein day is not typical for you, isn't it crazy how some days we have that control and do it right and other days we just don't?   I should of avoided that potato with my boiled crawfish this afternoon.......I really didn't need it anyway and after eating it was very uncomfortable. I am doing the 5 day pouch test on Monday.....I actually made the split pea and ham soup and the black bean soup today....partitioned it out in 1 cup servings and I'm ready.  Will make some s/f pudding tomorrow w/added vanilla protein and I also bought s/f popcicles today, Atkins and Slim Fast shakes so I'm ready. Dana I am joining you though my carbs aren't too high same as last time I am craving carb and I think I better start Monday with your support. Last time was late Feb so maybe this is a good way to keep us on track every few months. Last night I almost broke my own arm to stay away from the Kashi Crunch...my husband both it, thought he was doing something nice and I yelled at him for being an "enabler". Tonight I had pizza, spaghetti during week...not what I want. I have been thinking about popcorn so I am ready for 5 day also.

Ginny, I hear you lady......we have 19 of us on the Texas board joining in..........I need to edit my post from yesterday, I have idea why I allow myself to get in this mode but I start feeling bad about myself mentally when I don't control my choices.  I don't do bread very well but last night after posting I ate a bread stick from Pizza Hut then crashed from carb overload. I'll post on Monday if you want or we can PM each other for support.  I did make two of the soups on on the program yesterday and have them ready.  Bought everything I need to make it work, only thing left to do is make the s/f pudding with protein today.
