This is cute!  It matches your adorable "baby face"...You know , cutting the length really takes a lot of weight off the hair folicles...and the new growth will make your hair REALLY full looking because the little hair spikes up and holds the longer hair, higher!  A little trick I learned from a friend who is a beautician.  She would about cut 10 hair pieces in little sections randomly thru my bangs to give them a little height on top...(That was when I had more "big hair" on top) I'm gonna have a hard time cutting my length one day. It's getting really long ....But it's falling out a little more than normal lately too! I always think "this time it won't stop"! :(  So I totally understand... Well, you look adorable...and hopefully this was the change you needed!  And you don't look too thin in the face...You look "just right"... Edited: I had an incomplete sentence..I really think I am ADHD or ADD.(don't know the diffference) ..The one where your brain goes faster than your mouth or fingers!  I talk dyslexic too...always jumbling words...I come out with some pretty funny word concoctions that my family calls "anita-isms"... Anyway...your hair will look really full with the new hair growth popping thru...

Thanks! The beautician told me she could see the shorter hair coming in...Hopefully it's not all grey! LOL. But it does make me feel better after seeing my grandmother in that video tape...shutters.  It's all about how I feel and so now I feel better when I see myself and that's all that matters.

You know, it must be something that I didn't notice at all. I totally understood what you said about the shorter hair holding up the longer hair...It made total sense to me..LOL

It didn't seem like a big deal until I thought about how long I've had long hair and then I really had to think about it. When she asked me if I wanted the braid, I said yes. I intend to keep it until my hair is long again and compare the thickness of it to the new hair...Should be twice that thick or more!
