Greetings board members. Im looking for a lactose free, zero carb whey protein powder. The only one that fits that des. is IsoPure, but its breaking my back (lol). So this week (during the 5dpt) i've been surviving off of the old jug of milk based soy protein powder from WalMart (which use to KILL my stomach, but this week its been ok...). Can anyone recommend another whey protein powder similar to IsoPure thats not so expensive & wont kill my stomach? I think i got the jug at walmart for like $20.00/29.00 (or something).  TIA, c

Whey protein isolate doesn't have any lactose in it.  So look for things that have only this type of protein.

Candace, I think Sam's carries a big bag of whey protein (seems to me it's a purple bag) in chocolate and vanilla.  So if Sam's has it, Walmart should too.  (Or the pharmacist should be able to get it for you.)

You can get AnyWhey at GNC - it is a tasteless powder that you can add to about anything. I make choc. pudding and put a couple scoops in. It is the same whey that is in Isopure. Also, Isopure does come in powder form but is creamy.  Here is the link: http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2138524&cp=21 08294&pg=5&sr=1&origkw=whey&parentPage=family Diona
