Well, another weekend is over. I have two weeks till my vacation and I'm just excited about that. Nice quiet weekend, just dear hubby and me. Gotta love that too.  Breakfast: oatmeal, TVP, soy milk and coffee Second breakfast: 3 egg omelet, ground beef, ortega chilis and provelone cheese Snack: 2 SF cookies Snack later: 1 pure protein bar for 20 grams of protein Before dinner; 1 sangria wine cooler (12 oz) Dinner: 2 Tacos made with marinated pork meat, cheese, sour cream (tiny bit) and corn tortillas. [by my calculations, 4 oz meat, 1 oz cheese, 2 tortillas - sour cream wasn't counted]' Totals for the day: Calories: 1949  Fat: 88 Carbs:133 Protein: 134 Weekends are like this for me. Usually just snacking. We're thinking we'll do this sort of thing while traveling. Eat breakfast out, snack for lunch and stop in time to cook dinner over a campfire. We'll see. I may miss my oat meal too much for that but we'll see.  How was your weekend?

RNY on 01/23/11 with
HI all protien shake in the am and coffee.   salad with 2 oz of turkey  reg dress (very little) shocked at the cal in that going back to lite didn't finish sf/ff latte 2 oz chicken  mashed potatoes/corn (measuring 1/4 cup) Well tummy hates that.  Why I try chicken is beyond me.  I keep thinking if I just eat it slower oh well the chicken wins NO MORE I'll just eat a different meat when the rest of my gang eats it.   So in a little while I'm going to have a protien shake just to make up for what didn't stay put.  Sorry for the visual.   Oh yea  had 3 pieces of SF chocolate)(one of my weaknesses) so there's my day.   Have a good night all

Well, we do what we have to do sometimes. Sometimes I see at the end of the day that I'm short on protein so I have a shake or something..Usually, I'm good on protein but sometimes.  Yeah, SF chocolate is my weakness too. When I really REALLY think I need something I eat one but the good news is that if I eat too much, it makes me feel nauseous..So I eat one and then have to wait a while... You could buy cooked frozen shrimp and eat that when they eat chicken. The jumbo ones are really good just cold. Or buy fish fillets and cook one of those while they eat chicken...When the family wants hot dogs (and with two "men" in the house, they eat alot of hot dogs) I eat a 4 ounce portion of shrimp. Or the immitation crab meat..that's good too.  Happy Sunday!

Today - I had breakfast aorund noon (lol). Coffee & then i made a killer 8 egg, left over cooked spinach frutata (sp) topped w/ 3 slices & cheddar cheese. I basically quartered it (cooked in a small fry pan on the stove top) & had 1/4 the breakfast & 1/4 for dinner.  I'll have the rest for dinner tomorrow or something. Friday night i had crazy insomnia & couldnt get to sleep until 4am. so i was pretty much a zomby on sat.  slight headache & heartburns here & there.  Sunday was cool, even though i had a little heartburn. Im looking forward to getting back on track tomorrow :)

If you're anything like me I crave the spinach sometimes. I think it's the iron in it..That sounds so good for breakfast or for dinner. I like to do quiches too sometimes but the rest of the family (males) just want meat..According to them the meat "list" is really short. If it doesn't moo...It's not meat. LOL.  I hate it when I can't sleep. Screws up several days after that and I'm no good to anyone. Those are the days I call in sick for no apparent reason...

If it continues, I plan to see the doctor. B) 1/2 egg, 2 oz ham, half dollar size biscuit, tablespoon grits L) missed the whole thing! D) 3 wing sections, 1 1/2 small chicken fingers, 2 small cheese stix, cup of broccoli cheese soup S) Oz cheddar cheese, pickles, 4 saltines S) 1/2 cup fried rice with chicken

Unless you snuck in 10,000 extra calories, three pounds is impossible unless it's water weight. When I eat Thai food or Chinese food, sometimes the salt in that will cause me to swell. The other day, dh (dear hubby) noticed that my ankles looked puffy. Mind you this man doesn't notice anything...But noticed my ANKLES? So I know that swelling stuff happens and it's bad on the psychy too. Fried stuff does it to me too. We went to a fish and chips place a couple months ago and two days after, I said bye bye to my ankle bones..LOL Otherwise, your menu looks good. Sometimes I miss lunch too but it's the days that I eat two breakfasts and just have a snack for lunch..I switch my meals around alittle. LOL. Makes me feel like a rebel. LOL.

Well.  It's Monday.  Guess that's all that can really be said.  And our baby swing broke yesterday.. the question is whether or not to replace it.  I think Kaitlin was out of it by 5 months or so, and Daniel gets bored in it.. but sometimes is the only way he'll sleep at night.  All-in-all, the one we had lasted 1.5 kiddos.. that's pretty decent in the land of baby stuff. My test is *early* tomorrow morning.  We have to leave the house no later than 7:15, which means up by 5:30 to get the crew up.  Think of me.. from what I understand, this test is a real pain in the ass. 1c oikos w/ fibersure grilled chicken fillet w/ buffalo sauce container of Harris Teeter veggie beef soup 6 totino pizza rolls (not great, but leftover from Kaitlin and sitting there while I was feeding Daniel) 1c oikos w/ fibersure BSN shake 1087 cals  24.25g fat  92.25g carbs  121.25g protein  18.5g fiber No excercise beyond working around the house.

Good luck today. I'm sorry, I can't recall the tests exactly so I don't know if they're a pain in the butt or not. I know the fasting crap tests are horrible for me.  Your numbers are wonderful, as usual. Protein is awesome..LOW fat, nice carbs. Keep up the good work.
