5DPT Day 2
7/22/2008 Day 1 – 168.0 Starting Wt After many months of crying and trying to stick with my WL program I have decided to try the 5DPT. Keeping a record should help me succeed and maybe be a help to someone else. I prepared the Ham & Split Pea Soup this morning…it is really good. I am a little hungry today which is too be expected, but I know I will survive. I will remember what I’m trying to accomplish to keep myself ON TRACK! 7/23/2008 Day 2 - 166.0 Day 2 of the pouch test and I feel like I know I’m going to make it. If I can do this….anybody can do it! Yesterday during the course of the day I had 3 EAS Protein Shakes and three servings of the Split Pea Soup which was very satisfying. I spent most of my day in the bathroom and even part of last night. I found myself several times stumbling to the bathroom with great urgency. A very good feeling. I’m doing something now that I haven’t done freely since my WLS…drinking 72 to 96oz of Crystal Ligh****ER. Pushing the fluid….What a difference!
Keep up the good work! Your almost halfway there! I made the split pea with ham and the pumpkin sausage soups and they were very satisfying. I wasn't very hungry at all during days 1 and 2. I started feeling a little hungry today but I believe it was because I was thinking all day about making the baked tilapia recipe from the Living After WLS website. I made it as soon as I got home from work. The recipe is for 2 servings. It so-o-o good my Hubby even liked it. I thought I'd take the other piece to work tomorrow but I gave it to him.
