I was worried this week as I stepped onto the scale! I have had to add calories back as I was seeing black spots/getting dizzy, etc... But I have kept it between 1500-1800 calories and am feeling great.  And BONUS! I lost a pound!

Last week: 156
This week: 155

Yippee!

That's great! Keep up the good work. I don't know how you do it with working in the evenings and nights! Great job!

Well, the world traveler is back! Wednesday morning we woke up at 7 am in Meeteetse Wyoming (just outside of Cody) and drove 1065 miles straight home...Tired just doesn't cover it!

Two weeks ago: 122.4
This week! 121.4

I was so worried that I would lose weight. I ate HORRIBLE but kept reminding myself, "I'm on vacation" I even ate pizza once...While in the north country, I must have eaten 6 or 7 burgers (bison and beef) and did eat more than half the bun too...I was sure the carbs were going to kill me but I'm recovering nicely.

Glad to be back and back to normal eating again. Sitting here sipping my coffee..yum.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Before Surgery: 214
Highest Weight: 240
Now: 125.6
Goal: 130

Lost a half pound this week, so I'm 164 as of today.

My goal for the coming week is to actually make a decision on what weight bench/barbell set I want so I can get back to lifting. Feel the burn!

You go, girl!

What choices do you have on the bench or set? Have you looked at the power block system?

Hi,

I am new to this. I have been reading this week and find that this forum is great... I want to be accountable each week, so here is my first post.

I am 1 year out from surgery, but 15 months out from when I started losing weight. I fear gaining the weight back enough to let it quide me in keeping up exercise and eating right and taking my vitamins. I see my surgeon next week, so will get a good look at my labs. However, I went to my regular internist and he found my iron a little low and protein a little low. So I have added an iron supplement and am watching my protein intake better (back to my whey protein drinks in the AM)

Here's to being accountable!!

Today's weight 120.6

This is the first time I have posted my weight on here.  I think I will do it now every Friday and also my food intake for accountability.  I weighed 154 this morning, two days ago I was 155.  I am now trying to count my calorie intake for the past week and I am feeling more in control.  Yesterday I did eat a cinnimon roll but I didn't go over my calories.  So far today I have eaten ----Protein Coffee 150 cal 30 proteins, half can tuna, lettice tomato 1/4 cup cheese dreied fruit 1/4 cup 1/4 cup of sliced almonds and dressing.  This made a salad, Zone bar fruitified blueberry bar.  All together so far 685 cal. and 77 proteins.  Tonight I am going to the kids' vacation bible school dinner so it will be picnicy stuff.  I hate that because the calories can add up pretty fast.  I could eat before I go but I want to eat with the family.  Well, thanks for listening and letting me post on this site.  God bless, Penni
