burn like spots developing on my arms

The last couple days I have noticed spots on my arms that look like burn marks but havent been near anything hot. First I noticed one on my elbow then a large one on my for arm about 3 inches long. Then this morning I woke up and had 3 or 4 long scratch type marks on my shoulder briight red like burn marks Im totaling confused at where they are coming from and why. Just was checking if anyone else has had this problem. I had my labs done in April and everything was fine, I am 2years 4 months out of surgery and have had no complications. Debra

Sounds like poision Ivy (or similar)  to me!  My son is SOOOOO allergic to poison ivy that he can be standing down wind from it and if the oil spores are in the air he'll break out without even touching the stuff...The burn like spots are probably the start and then when you begin scratching and get the oil under your nails it spreads and makes long red lines that eventually blister too!  That's my guess...but I could be wrong...So you might want to see a doc!
