Whew! That sushi will really hike up the carbs, huh? Here's something else crazy--I didn't realize that the calories and fat in cooked meat was lower than it was in raw meat. I don't know why I didn't realize that! But I didn't and some of my journaling reflects the "raw" or "precooked" data. Hmmmm... I don't know if anyone else ever ran into this. Just thought I'd share. It's good news actually! Those Bubba burgers aren't actually 430 calories each! Hee.  Hee!

Have a great day!

Yeah, it does look like that sushi hiked up the carbs but...and you've heard this before...it's good carbs. I think of it that way anyway.

So long as it's not all white carbs it's good. Now rice is a white carb but on occasion, it's still good.

Now you critque mine..LOL. I managed to post on the first one so my stuff is there now. Later!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

My computer is wacky! I can only see the first part of each line on the other post. :-(

I'm not beating myself up on the carbs--I've been running a lot lately and losing weight--which I don't really want to lose any more... Thanks for all of the encouragement!

Yeah, my doctor gave me "great" advice...."EAT MORE" he said...sheesh. So pick a spot in your diet and add something to it. I'm just barely maintaining with my average 1800 calories. It's really hard.

I can't reply to the other post either. Ah, the mysteries of the internet.

Anyway, here's yesterday's fuel:

B: snicker's marathon nutrition bar

S: 1/2 blueberry bran iron muffin

L: beef taco with lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes

D: 4.5 oz. beef filet

S: 2 corn thins

It was a good day, but today will be better.

I admire your very controlled eating patterns! I feel like I'm all over the place. Good job with the protein. :-)
