13 Months since my surgery!!

Hi Everyone,

Tommorrow will be exactly 13 months since the day of my surgery.  Today I weighed myself and I have lost exactly 150LBS!!!  Woo Hoo!!!  I think about how this surgery has really changed my life.   If I had never had the surgery I would probably be 200 LBS heavier than I am now, oh my God what a thought!!!  Anyway, just thought I would share this with everyone. 

Melissa, Congrats and you should be very proud of yourself! Your April photo looks great, I can only imagine what you look like now, probably svelte and sexy! I bet you love buying new clothes...I have a terrible shopping addiction and now am staying out of the stores! I don't have time to wear everything I have! Keep up the great work, the hard part is yet to come, keeping it off!

Thank you!!  I have been working two jobs, so I haven't had time to take new pics of me, or to go shopping for that matter.  I also have been trying to save some money to buy some new clothes.  I think this week I will be able to do that.  Then I will buy something really nice to wear, and then take some new pics.  I will update my profile hopefully by this weekend.

Hi! Try the consignment shops. The Service League Consignment shop will be open right after labor day and you can find some great desinger stuff at bargain prices...I also like Look Twice in Scotch Plains. You can do both places on a Saturday. There is another thrift shop, Unique in S. Plainfield and Watchung that has nicer stuff. Plus sales galore at Macy's Kohl's, JC Penney, etc! Good luck.

Good job!  Welcome to the 150 club! You've done great even with life's little problems...You just keep taking care of you! 

When I think back to before surgery...I can't even imagine how miserable I might still be.  I cringe at the thought...and it makes me sooo glad I'm not there! (even with my own little problems here and there)...

Time for a new photo!  I just put one up too before the holidays start!  LOL  I'm gonna be sooo good! (I hope!) There is already halloween candy in the stores...Are they nuts?  :::::snarls:::::
