I'm glad to hear that you are surviving the storm! While I was running on the treadmill last night, the news kept interrupting whatever was on to tell us that the hurricane kept changing paths and was not "behaving" as they expected. I thought of you! Glad to hear that you are doing just fine! :-) Is Winter Park near Orlando? I've got some family there.

Well, my food yesterday was pretty good, and I feel good about my exercise, too: 2 easy miles on the treadmill and 40 minutes of bike inclines and then pull-ups. My DH (who has started running, too!) got me a personal GPS/heart rate monitor/thing-a-ma-jig for my birthday! I am sooooooo excited! It should come today! :-) I'll be running all over the place staring at my wrist! Hee! Hee!

Yesterday I had 1600 calories, 108 grams of protein, and NO CANDY!!!  I didn't over do it on the fruit, which is an accomplishment right now.  I also walked two miles last night in the humidity and worked up quite a sweat.  GO ME!!  :-)

Yesterday was a good day. I was productive and made a new protein snack that is currently making me extremely happy... Anyway, onto the fuel:

B: South beach high protein cereal bar

S: 1 serving total flakes

L: Cheesy cauliflower chicken chowder

S: Chocolate vitamuffin

D: More cheesy cauliflower chicken chowder because it's amazing and it was easy to heat up while I worked on stuff for school. I'm a busy woman, people.

S: Chocolate protein cupcake! Amazing, delicious, and on my blog. My boyfriend doesn't like chocolate by itself (weirdo), so I just feel the need to share these with everyone I know...lol

First time on this forum but at 15 months+ I guess I qualify; I want to be a "continuously working at it" graduate though....

Did good - still track my food everyday which really helps (love myfitnesspal.com!)

PreB - Vanilla chai protein shake
B - cottage cheese and blueberries, 2 Mr. Wheat Sea Salt Crisps
S - Primal Strips Teriyaki veggie jerky
L - Bumble Bee Albacore Lemon Pepper Tuna Steak, romaine lettuce, 1 tsp olive oil and lemon juice
S - pear, goat cheese (yum!)
D - roast turkey breast, cauliflower
S - 2 Tofutti chocolate fudge pops

Cal: 1244 Protein: 126g Fat: 35g  Carbs: 111g


Today was the "muscle works" class - 45 mins of intense weights and abs....!

I get my vitamins in most days.  I'm in the process of trying to find chewables/liquids so I can drink more of my vits and supplements, since they make me gag so badly.

Another shake, huh?  I haven't really gone over the 1300 cal limit, and my protein usually averages around 120g/day...do you really think that's low?

Thanks for the welcome - I never thought of myself as a graduate, I still feel like a newbie sometimes (althoug I can certainly eat more than one!)
