what we eat and absorb are two totally different things. We have mal absorptive surgery, remember?  Its so easy to forget. so if you just physically eat 120 grams you did not absorb near that much.  The whey protein is in a form that is easily digested and (key word" absorbed!  yes...talk to people 15  yrs out and they will tell you key to health and success is protein and good vitamins. Many of them still drink 3 shakes a day.
bariatriceating.com has chewable vitamins you can take, check them out.  I went through vitamins as my taste changed and now can swallow pills ok.  You have to take vitamins before you even think of breathing, that is how important they are. You will be ok for a w hile, but your body will suffer and you can get mal nutrition, or severe deficiencies if you are not faithful like clockwork. One th ing not to skimp is vitamins and absorbable protein!!
MIchelle at vitalady.com is a long term wls graduate and has great vitamins there too. She is a plethera of information as well.

I didn't do well yesterday at all!  I didn't eat enough!

B - my usual: lg iced coffee w/cream & sugar, Bacon/egg/cheese on 1/2 croissant from Dunkin Donuts
L - I worked through it, trying to get my classroom put together.
D - Pork chop, tomato sauce, green beans, 1/2 slice garlic bread
S - handful of tortilla chips and some neat italian tomato & cheese dip (got the recipe from another DSer) made with fresh ripe tomatoes from my neighbor's garden.

and that's all.  Woefully low on protein.  I can only blame the time of the year - school starting back up - that has me busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest!

one day is ok, two....not good!  Bring some ready to drink stuff with you when you get in a crunch. That is what I do, because I know I'll pay for it later if I don't!
