mega green tea??
for a while I used the southbeach drinks with protein and fiber (like the special k fiber drinks) and I noticed the grazing nearly stopped..HOWEVER I was also following another rule I learned about from someone on this board..and it has helped me WONDERS with my grazing. I eat my meal..get full..whatever, then I do not drink a drop of liquid for 2 hours after my meal, then I start the water loading process for 3 more hours, and I can easily go 5 hrs now between meals. So I don't know if it was so much the special drinks helping me (30 extra calories each drink with this specific drink) or if it was just the not drinking for 2 hrs after meals and then "water loading"....I don't drink the drinks anymore, and still am finding great success with not grazing following this advice.
That's my two cents :)

I take the green tea tabs for energy which I tend to lag half way through my day and also the green tea puts my body in the alkaline range...or at least closer to it away from acidic. Anyway the body in a severe acidic state will retain water around your fat cells and make losing weight especially around the abdomen harder to lose. Most doctors don't focus on this issue or I'd tell you to check with the doc.
Lots of studies conducted in Austrailia on this and the closer to alkaline you can get the better. It is hard though because things like artifical sweetner are extrememly acid and hard to get rid of.
I don't find that it helps too much with curbing appetitie. Grazing is a behavior and you need to manage that...it won't help to overstimulate things.

I take them everyday for th energy. I havent noticed much change in appetite or anything, but they do keep me going through the day. I take em in the mornings with my coffee..

Hello,
I have never taken the green tea pills but can understand how you feel about the grazing. I used to take a pill called adepix, it seemed to curve my appetite to the point that I would often have to force myself to eat around every other day. I weigh 130 but want to weigh 110 @ 5 feet tall. I have strongly considered trying to see if the doctor will writ e me a script for the pill. My prayers are with you.

well i have taken these green tea pills twice a day since monday and i have noticed the energy boost,, i am figuring it is the caffeine in them and the fact that i havent drank any caffeine other than iced tea every once in a while if i am at a restaurant so i do notice the boost,, but not a jittery boost so that isnt too bad,, i learned i cant take the pill after about 2pm,, i took it one nite about 6pm and i couldnt fall asleep for beans even at 11pm,, so now i take one at 6am and the other about 2pm,, i appreciate all the responses,, i have tried to go back to the post op diet of just protein shakes and a yogurt but my body is not being cooperative to that,, luckily i have only gained about 10-12 pounds which fluctuates since my surgery over almost three and a half years ago. so i will keep at it and see what happens,, thank you again all of you for all your input
