Our favorite Chinese place turned into a kabob place so going out to lunch was different. I knew my choices at the chinese place but have to guess on what a beef lula kabob is...It's ground beef. I guessed about the fixins....So here's my day:

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/ NSA Swiss Miss

6:00 am 1/3 cup oatmeal, ½ cup TVP, 1 cup soy milk, 1 motts Berry cup

7:00 am 10 oz coffee w/ NSA Swiss Miss

8:00 am 24 oz Hawaiian Punch Drink Mix, Lemon Berry

8:30 am 1 oz Cheese stick, 1 pc honey roasted turkey ham 

10:00 am 1 small peach, 1 cup grapes 

10:45 am 3 oz grilled chicken breast

11:15 am 24 oz Wylers Drink Mix, Fruit Punch

12:30 pm 6 oz ground beef (Beef Lula Kabob), 1 broiled tomato, 1/8 cup rice, 1/4 pita bread

1:45 pm  1 pkg Sugar Free Peeps (my last ones)

2:15 pm 6 oz decaf w/ Swiss Miss

3:00 pm 24 oz GV Drink Mix, Pink Lemonade

3:15 pm 1 medium pear

4:00 pm 24 oz Morning Spark Drink Mix, Grapefruit

6:00 pm 2/3 cup ground beef, 1/3 cup rice pilaf and ¼ cup canned green beans

6:30 pm Blue Bunny Frozen Yogurt ½ cup

I just finished Day 2 of the 5 Day Pouch Test Today.  I weighed in at 152.5# this morning and I ate around 1,368 calories today:
1 bottle K20 Water,
1 cup of coffee w/ hazelnut powdered creamer and sweet-n-low,
one Atkins Chocolate Shake,
one container ofCreamy Chicken Soup-at-Hand,
4 Whole Grain Crackers, 1 Body Fortress Super Whey Protein Shot,
1 Sugar -Free Jello Chocolate-Vanilla Swirl Pudding, 3 nasty Twizzlers,  1 pkg Slim Jim Mild Beef & Cheese Sticks,
Lo-Carb Pumpkin Sausage Soup,
1 Jello Sugar Free Double Choclate pudding.   I sipped water throughout the day but probably not enough.
I was successful for the most part except on my way out of the bldg where I work. I got to work late so I had to park in a different lot than usual.  I successfully ignored the vending machine on my way to my office.  When it was time to go back to the lot I had to pass that vending machine again...no, I didn't pass it up like I should have but I stopped and bought a bag of Twizzlers.  I ate three of them and I started immediately started feeling crappy.  I swear thse things just laid in my pouch and felt like a lead ball. Thank God I threw the rest of the pack right out of my car window before I was tempted to keep eating them no matter how they made me feel!!  Getting rid of those things was worth the chance being stopped by the police for littering.  Other than the Twizzlers and the crackers, may day 2 was ok.   I'm ready to re-do Day 2 and try to stick to more liquids.

 nice job! i suggest some good whey protein to help fill you up and give you good digestable protein. Try adding 1-3 a day and I think you will be pleased at how it helps you stay full, not to mention healthy in the long run!

I was considering buying some whey protein but I'm always afraid of spending a lot of money and not liking it..  I definitely need something to keep me full longer because I still have some tendencies to graze.  I know everyone's tastes are different .  What brand/type do you like?

 Champion whey stack in chocolate is good, and american sports double  dutch chocolate are both good.  I usually make a mocha coffee with mine. Add my expresso, some milk and protein.  
I definately hear you about not liking all proteins....been there done that!    I like ones that stir up with a spoon, also the nectars in chocolate are good. vitamine shop has most of these brands, I don't know about gnc. vitalady.com  has them too.

Ok..so as I anticipated.... I ate the EXACT same thing as yesterday, down to the 10th of an ounce of each item! ( I wrote the weat germ amount down wrong yesterday) Boring? A little. Yummy? YES! And the best part?! I can claim three days of "abstinence" in a row!! I have NEVER gone 3 days and 3 nights with literaly NO snacking between meals, I mean...I don't think there has been a day in my life where I literaly didn't have a nibble, a lick, a crumb between my meals. And three nights with NO eating...not a lick or nibble of anything! This may sound silly, but it is SOOO amazing for me! One day at a time right?!

Breakfast: 2 oz string cheese 1  cup appelsauce.

Lunch: Two oz chicken, 1 oz shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup tomatoes mixed with some onion, 1/8th cup  wheat germ, 1 TBS olive oil, 1 TBS balsalmic vinegar. (this was so yummy for me!)

Dinner: 2 oz cottage cheese, 1 oz shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cups lettuce/tomato/onion (salad), 1 TBS wheat germ, 3 TBS blue cheese dressing.

Calories 1062
Protein 62

Oh and I finaly got a copy of the actual "food plan" and in writing it says to talk to your dr about this plan and if you have a medical condition, to follow his/her advice and you'll still be considered absitent. So I'll go with this for a while, get my labs done, if my proteins are low..well.. that is a bypass created medical condition so then I could up it. :) I just don't want to up the calories in the process.

Oh it's been amazing! No snacking...nothing but my three meals a day, (around 1,000 calories) for 4 days in a row now! I wake up every morning with another lb gone. I've lost about 5 lbs since Monday. for months I've been waiting for the day to get back below 220 (as I gained almost 10 lbs since writing my signature)...and I would lose 2, gain 3, lose 5, gain 5...and last time I weighed (before I started this plan) I was up to 228. So I saw it going down..and down this week..and I was like "ok, I'm not going to get excited until I see it below 220" But I saw it going down consistantly 1-2 lbs a day this last week..and today I got on the scale, crossed my fingers (last night it said 220.6) And this morning, sure enough!! 219.2 That counts! lol. Could it be I've finally found something for ME?! I stopped/slowed the gaining the last two months since being on here, trying everything (all weird diets, products, suppresents...etc) all over again..which helped me reduce my calories enough to not gain at 5-7 lbs a month! But now for the first time in about 4-5 months I'm back under 220! So this is exciting, but I'm not going to toot my horn to the whole forum or throw a party until I'm back under 220..cause THAT will be something to celebrate! I was only under 200 for a very short time at the final peak of my weight loss surgery loss until the platue came and the gain began.  Anyway, My food may be a little boring right now..but I know what I'm going to eat (I'll start varying it soon) and I simply don't eat a bite or a lick of ANYTHING else besides exactly what I planned for that day...no matter what!

I'm accountable to my sponsor each day, but I like coming on here and sharing with you guys that I had a good day, it helps keep me on track.
