I, too, have been taking probiotics from vitacost.com
They WORK to reduce the gas.  When I forget, I get gas.
I use NSI Probiotic 8-5.  Very effective at a reasonable cost.

Try all the elimination things (dairy, sugar alcohols, white flour, suspect veggies...i.e. cabbage). Then try a probiotic, if that doesn't work then go to your PCP and ask for a prescription of flagyl. It's a narrow spectrum antibiotic that will basically kill off some of your intestinal flora (both bad and good). Normally you take a 2 week course, and sometimes you might need to do a 2nd or 3rd course if the 1st one doesn't completely resolve the issue.

After you use the antibiotic, start on a good probiotic to keep things in check.

Thank you ALL foryour thoughtful, honest replies! I will look online tonight at the probiotics! I have tried the eimination and nothing seemed to change it up, although bananas did seem to kick it up a notch. Thanks again for sharing your experiences and solutions!

I totally feel your pain!  I pass gas all the time.  Most of the time it is odorless - but sometimes.... HOLY COW!!!

I found that mine disappears when I eliminate sugar alcohols.  (I am addicted to SF gum though... so I live with it.  I guess you could say other people around me live with it too.  LOL!)
