Sugar sensitive - giving up sugar!

I've been a bad girl and have been away from the site for a while.  I need to be more accountable and intend to check in daily.  I've been doing some research and am now confident that I am sugar sensitive.  I don't think this happened from my RNY, I think I've always been this way.  It is my intention to kick my sugar habit and I'm going to need lots of support.  Any one else interested?

I started Sugar Busters to support my husband, whose diabetes was getting out of control and the more medication they gave him, the heavier he got (BTDT).  I feel a lot better, actually, and do not get the mid afternoon energy crashes that I used to get.  It's a tough start (I loved potatoes) but once I got the basic shopping list in my head, it's been good.  Good luck!

Thanks!  I have that book and I just read "Overcoming Sugar Addiction: How to Kick Your Sugar Habit, Conquer Food Cravings, Stabilize Your Mood, and Lose Weight" last night and it was very motivating.  I know it won't be easy but I am determined to do it and know being accountable daily will help.
