Nectar Sweets Protein ~~ Have You Tried It?

Have any of you tried the Nectar Sweets protein?  I, way back when, tried the fruity flavors and couldn't stand them.  I just got an email from Bariatriceating.com and they have the Nectar sweets that include Strawberry Mousse (new flavor), Vanilla Bean Torte, and Chocolate Truffle.  The names sound yummy but I'm not wanting to throw away $33 plus shipping if they taste as disgusting to me as the Roadside Lemonaide, Carribean Cooler, etc. I've tried before.

The Strawberry Mousse just caught my attention, I love strawberries.

Haven't tried any of them.  But the strawberry DOES sound yummy.  Do they have cheaper samples?

I hate the peach number; however, I will use it till it is gone.  I ordered some samples of the fruit flavors, and I thought they were not good.  Now, I have used the Cappicuno flavor for a long time, and it you like coffee flavor, you will like this one.  I like it much better than the Click product.  Also, I just purchased the chocolate flavor, but I haven't used it yet.  I have ordered from the barriatric website before, but you may want to check out Vitamin World.  If you have one in your area, they usually stock the product.  If they don't carry it, they will order it for you, and no shipping charge.  You pick it up at the store.  I think they have free shipping going on now on their website, but you have to purchase a certain dollar amount.  Also, the product is on sale, quite often. I am not associated with Vitamin World in any manner.

I do like the choc truffle but it needs skim milk & gets kinda thick, so I could only do a little at a time but it did taste like choc. the cookies & cream was good but thick again. I drink mainly the lemon tea from Nectar

I love the Chocolate really good! Suggestions on the protein mix says either with milk or water-- I love it with both. Quick and easy to mix with water when I am off in trainings. I did not like the vanilla torte. I am going to have to try the Strawberry Mousse. I usually LOVE vanilla-- something just tasted off.

I loved them Pre OP...bought three flavors (One was cherry and I LOVED it...It became impossible to even open the jar let alone drink it after Surgery!)  I remember one other flavor was Strawberry or Strawberry Kiwi???  But after surgery became lactose intolerant and the smell and taste of them became so bad...I could not drink them let alone smell the powder!  I was soooo lucky that Vitamin shoppe took the open containers back for me! Gave me a refund too!  But who knows...My tastes have totally changed but I am still lactose intolerant...so I dunno!

I am always tempted to try new ones but I'm scared and I eat enough food to cut out the one drink that I do a day in my coffee! Oh well...those flavors sound so good though!

Roadside lemonaide?  In WHEY?  No...I can't imagine lemon in my milk!  LOL 

I made a mistake and didn't realize until anothyer poster said she purchased it from Vitamin Shoppe.  It is indeed Vitamin Shoppe and not Vitamin World that I have purchased Nectar from in the past.  Sorry for the "boo boo."
