Small bowel bacterial overgrowth?

I hope this falls under "better late than never" LOL  Feel free to check out my profile/blog, but I have had a ton of issues that have not been completely diagnosed, and the latest is that I have this "bad bacteria" problem, which was confirmed by biopsies of my small intestine.  I am currently on antibiotics, so I am still suffering, not resolved yet.  Please let me know how you are, and if they found out that is what you have.  You are right, not many docs seem to know about it, very frustrating.

I had a hydrogen breath test which was negative.  However, my folate is elevated which I guess can be an indication of the overgrowth.  My doc has me taking probiotics.  I think I am feeling some better, a lot less gas and and less pain.  So we'll see.  My doc is actually doing research on it.
