Help! Will I stop losing???
I know most will say that I won't waste away. I am 25 pounds under my personal goal. How do I stop losing. What can I add that isn't junk to stop it. I can only eat 2 oz of protein at a time. I will take any suggestions.

I, too, was worried about losing too much. I got down to 98lbs before it stopped. I put back on 12 lbs and have been holding at 105-110 for the last year. Don't worry. Your body will stop when it needs to. If you have something to worry about it is that you might need to eat more protien more often. Other than that, be happy. You know, we are allowed to be happy!!! D
Yes...what she said. I was a bit short on my response, not knowing where you currently are and what your goal weight needs to be. I see so often people think they're done before they really are suppose to be done and they put on the breaks and TRY to put on weight by eating all the wrong things again. They develop a bad habit again and it's just the beginning of the failure syndrome, as far as I see.
I'm actually 20 pounds under what my personal goal was (150) but my surgeon said my goal weight was 125. I'm five over that right now but WAY under my personal goal...It really depends on which goal was right..

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I was too skinny for a litle while and people told me not to worry, and they were right. I had a @#%&*^ rebound around my second anniversary. I gained about 12 pounds practically overnight, so I was glad I was a litle bit below my goal weight when it happened. You know it's not a good idea to incorporate bad eating habits for any reason. You'll probably level off pretty soon.
My personal goal weight was 165 I now weigh 139. Its not so much me that is worrying its my "Mother"! I feel good other than right now I have a cold and of all things thrush. My mother thinks its because I lost so much weight that my immune system is messed up.. Well my immune system was messed up before I had WLS Yes I have been trying to eat every 2 hours. I already eat 100+ grams of protein a day. I don't want to start eating junk to stop my weight loss.

I had the same problem. My personal goal was to lose 75 pounds. I started at 250 and when I hit 150, I was ecstatic! The problem was it kep going. I got all the way down to 123 at 5'6". I looked skeletal and it really bothered me. Everyone went out of their way to tell me that I reall needed to stop losing weight and that I looked sick. I knew that and really didn't need anyone reminding me every few minutes. Anyway - I contacted the nutritionist and read her some of the details of my food journal. Right away she knew what my problem was. It was staring me right in the face and until she said it, I didn't pay it any attention. My surgeon's goal for protein is 50-60 grams a day for women. I was so focused on protein that I wasn't eating much else. There were days where my protein was about 85 grams and on those days, I barely had 1000 calories. There were other days where my protein was 65-70 and I had closer to 1500 calories. Of course it took the nutritionist to point out to me that I was getting too much protein! She said that getting that much protein in a day, you stay too satisfied and don't really eat enough other things. She, in conjunction with my surgeon, suggested that I reduce the protein to no more than 70 grams per day and add some higher calorie things. The surgeon told me that I would never hear her say this again but I should think about drinking some fruit juices to increase the calories.
Ok...long story short. The weight loss stopped and I was thrilled. The scales did start to go up a little just as they said it would which made me nervous as heck. I did cut the juices out again and have worked hard on keeping my diet a little more balanced. I gained back up to 150 and panicked! I got it back down to 145 and that is where I sit comfortably, almost 4 years post-op.
I know this is way more than you asked for but I thought just giving you a suggestion without some background, you might think I had no clue what I was talking about. As they say, "been there, done that"!
If all else fails, speak to your doctor or nutritionist.
Good luck to you!
