pouch question/???
Hi everyone,
I have not posted in such a long time,
but I do get on here occassionally to read all about everyone and take some pointers.
I am almost 4 years out.. I feel great, my yearly appointment was fine, the dr. even said that I was in perfect health thank God.
One thing that I have noticed and wondering if it happens to anyone else. When I go too long without eating or drinking anything I begin getting a big pain in my pouch and it gets like a ball. Like it's full of air. Everyone (who is not a gastric bypass patient) says it's gas that can be released either way
but that is not my case.. it's just a pain right in my pouch and I can even feel it like a ball. So what I do is I lay down and kind of rub it until it goes away, and then of course I will drink liquids or eat something. I try my best not to go without eating or drinking more than 2 hours.. but there are times I have no control and it has happened. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I am hoping that it's nothing serious and based on when I get that pain I have come to the conclusion that it's when I don't eat or drink anything.
I'd like to hear from you guys and see if this has happened to anyone before.
thank you...
p.s.
I got a referral for ps from my dr.. and my insurance approved it... yay.. just waiting for an appointment with the plastic surgeon..
