I know Dawn is at a BBQ so I thought I would start this since I am going off to bed soon. I know tomorrow will be busy for everyone as well. Hope you all have a great July4th! I started the day off well. I volunteered at the YMCA at the cardiac pool; I do this twice a month and really enjoy it. I then ran on the treadmill for two miles, it was too hot in there for any further and the Ipod ran out of juice! A nurse did not show up at work so I had to go in and work; it was so busy!
B-hotdog- at work and could not find anything else
S- mini scone- same as above
L-teriyaki chicken and salad
S apple
D hamburger patty with light swiss and homemeade sweet potato fries
S-sf eskimo pie
2 mile run all my water and vitamins. Have a safe 4th of July!!

Awesome! I didn't exactly rush home but I did want to get this done before I hit the pillow..THANKS!

I had a very adventurous day! Nothing normal..

B: 3 eggs, 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1.5 slices of rye toast without the crust

L: a grilled sandwich. 1.5 oz ham, 2 slices whole wheat bread, 2 slices muenster cheese, 1/2 thousand island dressing.

D: 4 oz pork tenderloin, 1/2 medium ear of corn, 1/2 small baked potato, a margarita and a slice of homemade (low sugar and no flour) pumpkin pie..

Snack: 1/2 (the second half) of a Tri-O-Plex Brownie..yum.

I was up at 4 am and not to bed yet and it's midnight...Long LONG day. Walked about a mile and a half and did several loads of laundry (which get hung on the line) and vacuumed the house.

Totals for the day:
Calories:1685
Fat: 71.9
Carbs: 124.7
Protein: 106.2

Totals are estimated cuz I really have no idea on the pie..At least 200 calories for that but after lunch I had plenty of room for that and more..

Like you I got all my water (and two extra bottles to cover that margarita) but I didn't get all my vitamins. I'm doing some adjusting tomorrow to include magnesium and zinc with the calcium and D I usually get...maybe do something about the foot cramps..

You did awesome. I felt pretty winded with the walk we took at our friends' house with his little ****zu...I know I'm out of shape!

You keep up the good work..Ineed lots of work. See ya.

What are you taking for the foot cramps; magnesium? I grt foot cramps but it is usually only in my right foot. I thought I must be running funny on it, maybe it is magnesium. I am pretty good on the calcium;I think anyway.
Pumpkin pie in July sounds great! I make it without the crust and sugar as well, I have no idea about the calorie count either I just enjoy it!
Have a happy and safe 4th of July!

When I was growing up and had menstral cramps, my aunt (who is a vitamin and mineral genius) told me that calcium with magnisium and zinc is the BEST for muscle cramps and it worked. I've been taking Calcium with D but skipped the magnesium and zinc in it..figured I didn't need it. Lately I've been getting foot cramps when I lay down to go to sleep. Some are so bad that the ONLY thing that works is jumping up and standing on it.

Our friends made the crust without wheat (as he has Celiac Disease) and it was AWESOME.

Amy,
Sorry your plans fell through! We did not get invited anywhere until the last minute to go along with the neighbors to a picnic. I just found out iti s in an open fiel and it is supposed to be 90 today; that is hot for us here in the Pacific Northwest! I made some brownies to take and they do not taste righ tto me, maybe because I used real sugar? I am bringing them anyway, I will not eat them. I am also bringing some veggies and hummus; yum!We are coming home before dark and will watch our neighbor do his fireworks. Always interesting because he is pretty drunk by dark! We wet our roof down every year and make sure we are home to watch out for the house. It is only one day a year and beside this he is a great neighbor, so we do not mind.
Take care and eat something today, it is a new day. We usually have fireworks on the local TV station; they are nice to watch and definately safer!
