Feeling pretty good today, last nights exercise was particularly satisfying - different instructor, chg of pace and routine felt good ...

Food for Monday :

B - choc, banana, and coffee protein shake

S - coffee with carb countdown

S - protein coffee

L - 2 1/2 oz chicken-n-gravy, 1 1/2 oz pot roast, 1/2 c peas, 1/4 cup scalloped apples, 1 oz salad
       shrimps

S - 5 espresso beans and 1/2 serving almonds/cashews

D - 1 scrambled egg and 1/2 slice cheddar

S - 2 prunes

Water / crystal light - 120 oz                    Cals - 1118     Fat - 47     NetCarbs - 64     Prot - 101

Dawn, another well wishes for your labs, know what you means about vials and vials of blood, it almost laughable - NOT...Do you think the fasting is creating REAL hunger or HEAD hunger?  I know for myself, I'm never really feeling starving and the longer I go without food in a busy the easier it is to not eat, as long as I keep the liquids coming in...

It's mostly head hunger but having to wait, and they made me wait a LONG time today, and then all the crud with my vein stopping after 9 vials...The kicker is, they messed up one vial and I have to fast again tonight...I just have to laugh! After 14 vials and fasting...and they skipped over my name on the list. 12 hours turned into 13 and a half hours of fasting...I have to do it again tomorrow...I'm laughing here cuz if I didn't laugh about it, I'd be crying. I'll need to make sure I drink two bottles of plain water cuz...after 9 vials they had to practically wring out my arm...it was just sad. I think dh was more upset about me having to fast again tonight than I was...

Your list looks good. high on the protein and calories right there...Good job. and exercise is taking on a new role...good job!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
