what protein powder?
********** I use 3 at this moment:


1.) Gaspari Myofusion double chocolate or chocolate peanut butter OR a combo of those 2 with 6-8 oz water + about 1/2 **** I use a Magic Bullet or a hand blender. Full sized blenders double the size of my drink and make me burp too much! Using this method, I get a thicker or thinner Wendy's Frosty type drink, depending on the ice/water ratio
2.) Champion Pure Whey Stack choco + 6-8 oz water, shaken.
3.) IDS vanilla-cinnamon + "glop" of DaVinci sugar free caramel sauce + 8 oz water + ice, blended.
4.) the PWS chco + the van-cin (50/50) in about 10 oz ho****er, stirred or
hand blender.

They deliver 30g protein, less than 3g sugar, less than 200 calories, when made with water.




do you add fruit to them?
************ no, never, don't like it that way

It appears that they are approx 180-200 cal each if you get 1000 cal per day for 5-6 of them. Wondering what makes them so high in calories when they are only 4-6 oz?
******** always 30g, give or take. yes, between 160-190 or so. I don't use a micrometer for the scooper. I use a scooper that delivers 16g, so 2 level scoopers.



Taking the protein shakes would make you less hungry at meals...is this why you do it or to ensure you get enough protein?
************** both, but what keeps me doing it day after day is that it turns off my wanter. So when I do eat, *I* am controlling the food, not vice versa.


Are your meals protein rich as well?
********** um, well, whistling and rolling my eyes....not so much. I prefer veggies. Not too crazy about meat/fish/chicken - flesh. Never was, never will be. I usually eat dinner around some sort of flesh, tho. And in front of witnesses. LOL


Now...the dreaded sugar:
do you stay away from natural sugar as well such as fruits?
************ fruit, I eat. Not as much as I want. Regain #2 was fruit. I usually eat half an apple or orange, but might eat the 2nd half later., I do 6 "meals"

do you eat SF stuff?

DO you exercise as well to off set the caolries??
********* bearing in mind that I don't buy into the cal out/cal in thinking, not at all. I'm no couch potato, but any exercise I do is aimed toward bone building.

This whole thing is an puzzle...isn't it? I am still trying to figure out what my lifestyle should be. I may have a look at what you do....can't hurt. I would like to get 10 pounds off. However, I understand that our bodies have a set point....not sure if I am at mine and should respect it....or see what I can do better to loss 10 more pounds.

What are your meals like? Would you mind providing some examples of your meals? I do not eat the 'whites', bread or pasta of any type. I am great with water, vitamins, and exercise.

well, spread your arms waaaaaaaaaay out to the sides. That';s YOUR food world. Now, put them straight out in front, sorta close. That's MY food world. I don't LIKE anything. I know, parts of me are still 5 y/o. (too bad it's not my skin!).


First thing, I do 30g protein, collagen. Most expensive useless protein there is. BUT I've had the habit for 10 yrs and I can do it, so I do. I figure even tho it wouldn't help my labs, for example, it MIGHT help my skin. Tastes awful, can't face it if I'm awake. I have to do it when I first wake up and my mouth tastes like feet anyway.

For 2 yrs I ate for bfast:
1 egg
1 bacon
1/2 toast (sourdough from a big loaf, hence 1/2)
vites

protein drink

fruit with my iron group

protein drink

Just had some celery with PB on it, and carrots. All were about 4" long.

Protein drink

Next...... I don't know, Don't want anything, but maybe some apple slices and brie

dinner is pot roast with potatoes and veggies

probably another protein drink

Have to go to a meeting at some point, so prolly have another there

So, I eat oddly. To LOSE, I use protein bars vs the fruit/veggies. Or if I'm suddenly intrigued by them.

I have been known to eat string cheese wrapped in shaved deli meat. Not as often as I should, tho. The other thing that swept me for a month or so was shaved deli meat, spread with cream cheese, wrapped around a dill pickle. 2 was a meal. Now I cannot look at lunch meat, of course. LOL
