Yes, I have a serious problem with my teeth darkening and getting grooves in them.
I had four of my top front teeth coverd in veneer two years ago and one of the veneers fell off recently and there was a cavity under it..
My bottom teeth are in need of help, not to mention my back teeth need repair and replacements of fillings etc.
I am 6 years out and noticed my teeth were harder to keep white the second year out.
I was on Iron for a time from peri-menopause problems, but stopping the Iron has not stopped my dental problems. I've not taken the Iron in two years. Still my teeth problem is getting worse.
I have changed my vitamins several times..Centrum didn't seem to help me any..I used the chewables, to Chewable silver and the regualar one taken two times a day..I have tried other suppliments with no satisfacton also.
I just ordered some Rainbow Light Women's One which is a whole Food multi and I hope it helps. I serched long and hard to find a potient suppliment and the Rainbow light is LOADED, plus has support for menopausal symptoms.
Besides a multi, I take Calcium Citrate 1000 by GNC; natures way B12 (I'm always way high on my b12 per Labs Up in the 1000's); I take D3, a probiotic by Garden of life; fish oil; Magnesium..so I don't understand the teeth problem unless it might be the menopausal thing going on..
I started on Bioidentical hormones two months ago and they help in the way of some symptoms, but breakthough bleeding started and worry that I may have to start Iron again if I continue..I am a mess. My hormones will be adjusted at the end of this month, so hopefully this problem will stop.
My skin looks great, I feel tired and run down most days tho. I sleep well, eat well on a diet of whole organic foods.
.
I'm desparate to get to feeling better and worry about my teeth and bones.
I wonder if the high level of B12 in my blood may indiacate a problem...even if I don't take B12 my level is high. I find that curious. Other than that my lab work is fine. That's curious too.
