Need help choosing between band/sleeve/rny
band - no way, ever. Toomany compications. too high failure rate/
RNY - I had it and lost 100lbs - but now I deal with reactive hypoglycemai - very comon after RNY - (google it) it is a very difficult to manage. If I could chose it again - I would get the sleeve,
VSG: yes - definetly.
But remember: the surgery is a tool. You have to work really hard with either one.

I had the RNY. The greatest benefit was that I left the hospital with normal blood pressure - very cool.
However, if I had to do it over again, I would probably have the sleeve because you don't get dumping syndrome. I've had a few serious episodes of it and wouldn't wi**** on my worst enemy. Also, I find that those on the sleeve seem to have reduced appetite.
No one can know what's right for you - you have decide what is best. Keep asking quesitons, it is a good way to start.
