Keeping it honest - Tue/Wed

It IS rough when we lose someone - food is quick comfort and that might be part of why I'm diving into the bread...so much for my NOT being an emotional eater, eh? My MIL is in extreme failing health and the stress, worry, etc is eating us all up. (((HUGS))) to you! I understand and maybe together we can conquer this!

Well, lets see....
Tuesday
AM
1 flaxseed bagel, toasted with a slice of swiss cheese (no butter)
12 oz coffee, creamer and sweetner
24 oz water
NOON
6 oz beef chili with red kidney beans
12 oz coffee, creamer and sweetner
24 oz water
MID AFTERNOON
8 oz low fat milk with two scoops vanilla protein powder
24 oz water
PM
6 oz outside round steak (marinated in light BBQ sauce)
1 tomatoe
1/2 boiled potato
1/3 small can of mushrooms and 1/2 small onion (fried-no oil)
EVENING
24 oz water
12 oz apple cinnamon herbal tea
1 mild pepperoni stick
That was my day.... trying to give 1/2 hour between solids and liquids though.
I am like the slowest loser and it worries me everyday...that I might not reach goal.

Tim Hortun's (a Canadian originated coffee chain) carries Flaxseed Bagels. They are whole wheat, with flaxseeds added. I have one, toasted with a slice of swiss cheese. They are delicious.
Tim Hortun's is now owned by Wendy's restaurants and they are popping up all over the States, perhaps they carry the flaxseed bagels down there, too.

I've seen flaxseed bagels at a local grocery store (Butera) ... here's a link to the company that makes them (Natural Ovens) ... they are the "Golden Crunch" bagels (15g protein!):
