I am scheduled for wls and I have fibromyalgia. Anyone else have both, or know how wls effects fibromyalgia?

I am post op 9 weeks and quit taking my fibromyalgia meds after surgery. I had a flare up last week and began my meds again. The flare up was not as bad as I have had before and did not last as long. I have lost 120 lbs. since January and just taking the weight off my joints has made a world of difference. I feel so much better since the surgery and am very grateful to have had it. Good Luck!

I am glad this question was asked. I also have Fibromyalgia, and am just going through the pre-exam before meeting with the doctors for bariatric surgery.
