Could anyone tell me what to expect

I am scheduled for my first visit with a surgeon on October 4, 2004, and was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect at that visit and any there after. I am somewhat nervous, but I know all this will be worth it in the end once surgery is done. Sara

Good Morning I would suggest you go "local", go to th ny board and talk to folks there, you may even find someone who had the same surgeon.

They will take your blood pressure and weight. If you plan on having a laparoscopic procedure they will want to take a quick look at your stomach to make sure that procedure is possible to perform on you. If you are lucky, you will have time to ask your surgeon questions.
