Who says being a writer is silly?? We're being CREATIVE. ^_^ You may not know it, but you're doing what we ALL do - we collect things that interest us, that inspires our creative juices, that says 'There's a story in there - now I gotta unlock it'. My husband and I are the same way with talking - late at night we start firing off words, jokes, or phrases and one of us says 'That's a so-and-so line.' or 'I gotta remember that for a story.' When you're a writer married to another writer, it's either heaven or hell, and I'm very lucky it's been heaven. The supernatural thriller I'm working on (turning from a novel into a trilogy!) is nothing but a huge collection of these thoughts, lines, words, and incidents that I've collected through the years (I'm 25, wrote my first novel at 17 in math class). So, no, you're not being silly, you're being normal for us! *hug* If you need any advice, help, reading board, or something to shoot off ideas with, email me. ^_^
Jill,
Hello! I was excited to read your post! I'm a Christian novelist myself.
Had Lap RNY in May, 2004. Down 75 pounds so far and couldn't be happier!
Where/when can I read your stuff? Supernatural Thrillers are my favorite genre!
Blessings!
