Our Own Magazine Has Arrived. We've been busy since January putting together our first copy of our quarterly magazine and it's now available for ordering. Click here to order your subscription today. I'm a former journalist (150,000 circ. daily newspaper in Illinois). I now write, based in Burbank, CA. I'm wondering where you get the content for your magazine? I had my WLS on 7-21-04. Is the magazine open to queries? Is it volunteer-written or staffed? Please advise. Thanks.

Hi Eric, Someone from Obesity Help was looking for volunteer content writers sometime back and I emailed her and offered my services as a writer. Unfortunately I have never gotten a reply to that. Can you use a good volunteer writer? While I'm a lawyer by trade, I enjoy writing in general and I'm a pretty fair writer. I work with an online support group in NC that facilitates getting info to folks in NC about support group meetings, sources of info (like ObesityHelp.com! ), and help them to connect with others around the state. If you have someone that I can work with at Obesity Help to do some writing for you, I'd be happy to work with them. Thanks very much! Donna Earley
