My gosh! I come to this board and it's deader than a door nail! Where's everyone at???? Come out, come out, wherever you are! Let's get this board moving!!

(Ha! "Deader than a doornail"! Always one of my mother's favorite sayings, I'm suddenly transported back to my young childhood as I recall pondering the significance and apparent lifelessness of door nails. ) Anyway, I just now happened on this site, excited at the prospects of meeting other writers and found it to be near comatose. Bumnmer. I assume, Trisha, you are a writer. As for me, I'm accomplished at composing serious correspondence (legal, official, etc. genre) but my true love is creative and poetic ... not the fluffy sort, however. My work is gritty and metaphorical, not the sing-song kind that folks often associate with poems. So what is your style? Looking forward to hearing from you and others.
