Any other children's writers on here?

Hi! I write for children and am a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) in Arizona. Does anybody else in this forum write for kids? Maybe we could start an online critique group. I write picture books, easy readers, chapter books and middle grade novels. Also have experience in writing for children's magazines. I have just started a children writing class through the Childrens Institute of Literature. I have sent in my first assignment and have started my second.

no I have never seen that site. I love writing and I hope I can get published. I am very early on in the course so I am not sure how good I really am, but I hope they like what I write.

The good news is, you'll get better...regardless of your current ability. I learned a ton from that course. I'm a sllllooooowwwww person (I procrastinate), so I'm still taking the course after a couple of years. I often use the resources and review my course manual. Actually, one of my early assignments was just published (with a LOT of editing to meet the publishers criteria). Anyway, good luck with it...enjoy!
