Waiting on Insurance Approval

I am scheduled to have surgery 11/23/04 so far I havent heard from the insurance on whether it was approved. My pre op stuff is scheduled for the 18th. Should I be worried sick? have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. My doctor is Dr Ghaphery. Anyone else have this insurance, how long did it take to get approved? Debbie
