Back On Track Together
Nasty habit.
Well it has been a shaky 2 weeks for me.
I have a problem with rewarding myself with food when I lose weight and it did not help that TOM was came right after I lost 8 pounds. So I have gained 6 pounds over the last 2 weeks. (I did not weigh in last week so it could have been more)
My goal is to lose 1 to 3 more pounds by next Monday for my September total.
If not I am good with the knowledge that I have not gained for the month and will have a loss for Sept which is consistent. I am not losing what I would like to each month but I am losing something each month.
I am not going to gain anymore weight this month.

I do the same...and I also grab food when anxious. My hubby is in Afghanistan and I haven't heard from him in a couple days and I just realized I've been eating sugar like its going out of style.
I also didn;t lose what I wanted to this month, but I also didn't *gain* for the FIRST time in several months.
So we should take our successes where we can get them!
I want to try to drop 10 pounds from now and Halloween. Today I gave up soda AGAIN.

I can feel your pain. When i do not feel good, or I am sick (as I am last 2 weeks) I give myself a permission to eat anything. As a child I would lose appetite when I was sick and my mom will give me anything I wanted just so I would eat something. Unfortunately, I still have the same pattern. When sick, i am not hungry, and eating real food is hard. So I eat the food that I appeals to me. And i am past the child stage... but old habits die hard.
On the other hand - if I eat food that my pouch does not want - I end up sick. Or like a child - I refuse to eat. I rather not eat than eat something that may make me sick. I even have issues with protein shakes when I'm sick.
