Carbs before 1 PM?
Also, saw two quotes today that I haven't seen in awhile, and I always thought they were good.

IT'S NOT ABOUT "HAVING" TIME. IT'S ABOUT "MAKING" TIME.
Tess, that idea - carbs early - may work for some people - but not for me.
I think (I have not tested it ) that my body may make too much insulin when I eat carbs - high insulin level - no weight loss... and I get more hungry.
If I wait with carbs to later duringthe day (unless I exercise in am) then I can keep my BS more stable - and do not get very hungry. But getting the carbs and sugar later in the dya - allow me to limi how much more I can eat.
I eat carbs - I get hungry and I eat more

I seem to stick to my eating plan better if I save my carbs. My carbs right now are veggies eaten with lunch and dinner then more carbs in the form of a protein bar for my evening snack. It's something I look forward to at the end of the day.
